Performance Management Confirmation (PMC) is a rigorous certification process that verifies elements of a robust performance management system, including an employer's ability to:
- Cascade organizational goals into individual performance plans.
- Effectively evaluate employee performance, including distinguishing between different performance levels.
- Maintain employee confidence in management's ability to manage performance.
- Fairly, effectively, and transparently administer a performance incentive program.
The PMC program is designed for state employers seeking approval to use performance incentives. However, the program may also be used as a self-evaluation tool for reviewing an organization's culture and performance management system.
