DOP is currently implementing new requirements for Affirmative Action reporting. We have posted Interim Reporting Guidelines in the box to the right. Please use only these guidelines until further notice.
What is required for Interim reporting?
As of July 1, 2010, agencies and institutions will suspend submission of separate AA reports and updates.
Starting in October 2010, agencies and higher education institutions will submit a report that includes a workforce profile and answers to three questions addressing their affirmative action activity. The questions are:
- What happened as a result of the affirmative action strategies detailed in the last approved affirmative action plan or update?
- What are the key affirmative action issues that the agency/institution intends to address moving forward?
- What are the agency's/Institution's primary strategies to address these key issues?
Agencies that are scheduled to submit an HR Management Report will submit their AA report as part of the HR Management Report, using the standard workforce profile query.
Institutions of higher education and other general government agencies that do not submit HR Management Reports should submit their report by October 31.
Small agencies served by the Department of Personnel's Small Agency Client Services Program will not be required to submit an interim report. Instead, the Small Agency Client Services Program will submit a roll-up report covering all agencies in their account portfolio.
